Romo Welcome, and Thank You for taking the time to visit. On this, and the following pages, you will find out who I am, what I am all about, as well as links to some of my favorite sites. Wow! So much to tell (not everything) and so little space..... well...here goes... I am a Chicago native, born and raised in Chicago's Northwest and Northwest Suburban areas. Chicago's "Old Neighborhood" was comprised of many ethnic and cultural backgrounds, which had a distinctive influence on who I am. As early as I can recall, I had a fascination with the aromas drifting from the kitchens throughout the neighborhood, which prompted me to explore ethnic foods and various ethnic cultural backgrounds. They had to fight to keep me out of the kitchen! At a very early age I was encouraged to develop my creative abilities. It all started with crayons, finger paints, scissors, clay, fabric, wood, and anything else I could utilize to be creative. In addition, I had an interest in architectural design, interior design, gardening and, entertaining. Just call me "Martha" ! I have led a very interesting and diversified life thus far.
